AI App Builder

Build and edit Lowcoder apps from natural-language instructions.

ReactTypeScriptassistant-uiLLM Tool Calling

Overview

AI App Builder, called Automator inside Lowcoder, is an assistant that turns natural-language requests into real changes on the visual canvas. A user can describe an interface, ask for a form or dashboard, and have Automator add, arrange, configure, and style the required components. It also understands the app that is already open, so follow-up requests can refine existing work instead of starting again. Beyond the canvas, it can add interactions, update themes and app settings, apply global CSS or JavaScript, and publish the finished app. Users choose the Lowcoder query that powers it, allowing them to work with their preferred compatible LLM.

Highlights

  • Build an interface from a prompt. Users can describe the app or section they need in plain language and see it created on the Lowcoder canvas.

  • Refine the result through conversation. Follow-up requests can move, resize, rename, restyle, reconfigure, or remove existing components.

  • Understands the current app. Automator considers the components, layout, selection, and queries already in place, so it can extend the work without creating unnecessary duplicates.

  • Supports a wide range of Lowcoder components. It can work with text, buttons, forms, inputs, tables, charts, containers, media, navigation, and more.

  • Adds behavior as well as visuals. Automator can connect component events and help turn a generated interface into an interactive app.

  • Handles app-wide changes. Users can ask it to change themes and canvas settings, update app details, add global CSS or JavaScript, remove a query, or publish the app.

  • Flexible AI setup and ongoing sessions. Users can connect a compatible model through a Lowcoder query and keep separate conversation threads for different pieces of work.
